Join us for an art reception for Hastings artist Beth Bacon! Her paintings will be on display at the Great River Road Visitor & Learning Center from Sept 1st through Oct 15th. Come to this reception to meet the painter herself and to hear the stories behind the paintings! Free event. Refreshments will be served.

Bacon: “I paint the world as I see it, full of bold colors, joyous noise, bright flowers and breathtaking colors. Trees dance in the wind and stems bow in the breeze. I believe that all colors are in the world, we are only limited by what we feel we see – and try to show more in my paintings. I am self-taught, or perhaps self-allowed, to use the mediums I choose. I love oil for the texture, smell, and feel it brings to life on a canvas. I paint at my home in Hastings MN and find inspiration on my daily walks, drives, and adventures.”
