Brave the 9th Annual Kickapoo BRAVE (Bluffs, Rivers and Valley Event) Bicycle Ride on September 16, 2017 starting and ending in Gays Mills, Wisconsin. Gays Mills is located along the Kickapoo River in Southwest Wisconsin, in the heart of the scenic Kickapoo Valley. One route takes you west to Ferryville Fall Fest and the wide expanse of the Mississippi River Valley, while another takes you north to the Driftless Area Art Festival.
New this year! We’re holding an After Party with food, drink, and live music. The party will be Saturday afternoon after most riders have returned to Gays Mills. Stay tuned for location and party details.
The ride features a cloverleaf route system, which allows riders to choose from beginner, intermediate, and advanced routes ranging from 15 to100 miles. This year we’ve added a family-friendly route. Children 12 and under ride for free!
All routes start and end at the Kickapoo Stump Dodger Campground located in Gays Mills, where camping will be available for participants. Check-in opens for the Brave Ride at 6:30 am, while a mass start for all routes commences at 8:00 am. All riders receive a t-shirt, gift bag, and Brave Bucks, redeemable at local sponsoring businesses.
