700 acre park originally from the estate of Wisconsin’s First Governor, Nelson Dewey. Scenic overlook, Indian mounds, picnicking, camping, hiking.
Directions: Heading west out of Cassville on Hwy 133, turn left on County VV (Great River Road), travel 1/2-3/4 mile past The Dewey Home to parking lot on right which is the entrance to the park. Stonefield Village, a creation of yesteryear, is on the left. Please use caution crossing the railroad tracks, if on schedule, trains may pass every twenty minutes.
